Get Ready for Power Slap 14: Fights, Odds & Storylines to Watch
Welcome back, slap fans! Power Slap 14 is almost here, ready to shake up the XULA Convocation Center in New Orleans on July 18, 2025. You can catch every wild moment live and free on YouTube, starting at 9 PM ET / 6 PM PT. With three championship belts on the line and a stacked main card, this event promises more heavy hits, jaw-dropping moments, and the kind of drama that makes slap-fighting so addicting.
Heavyweight Championship:
Damien “Dibbell” Dibbell (-200) puts his 265 lb title on the line against Wesley “Mena” Mena (+180) in what’s expected to be a banger. Dibbell’s raw power and chin have made him tough to dethrone, but Mena’s been on a tear and has knockout potential if he lands flush. This one could flip quick if Dibbell makes a mistake early.
Lightweight Championship:
Robert Trujillo (-150) vs. Dakota McGregor (+140) is shaping up to be one of the most technical showdowns yet at 155 lbs. Trujillo’s precision and fast resets have kept him ahead of scrappy opponents, but McGregor is known for explosive first-round slaps and could catch him cold if he connects early. This might be fight of the night if both show up sharp.
Middleweight Championship:
Branden Bordeaux (-170) defends against Isiah Quinones (+160) at 185 lbs. Bordeaux is riding momentum with two straight finishes, while Quinones has quietly built a reputation for absorbing damage and firing back harder. Expect some tense rounds — this one might not reach the final slap.
Non-title Main Card Fight:
Vernon Cathey (-160) vs. Austin Turpin (+150) at 198 lbs brings together two fighters with wild swings and unpredictable style. Cathey’s defense has holes, but when he’s on, he can drop anyone. Turpin loves to push the pace and could turn this into a wild back-and-forth if it goes the distance.
Fans should keep an eye on coin toss winners — that first slap often sets the tone. Add in the chance for viral knockouts, fouls, and surprise underdogs, and Power Slap 14 could easily deliver some of the year’s biggest highlights.
Stay tuned — my Slap Wager Watch picks are dropping soon so you’ll know where the sharp betting value is before fight night!
